1. Some people were of the opinion this was a word that surfaced in the 1960’s but according to the older folks ,it is as old as slavery!When the creole Language was being born,the slaves used this word to refer to when they were being taken advantage of!!!Most used to whisper it under their breath for fear of the bosses.
